Job summary

Instrata Technologies, LLC. is seeking a Director of Construction PMO to lead all onsite operations at a large data center project site. This full-time role requires daily field presence, governance, and execution oversight to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

The candidate will drive site standards, manage budgets and risk, coordinate with clients and GC partners, and mentor PMO staff while delivering consistent project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 10–15+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing multiple project teams, programs, or regional operations.
• Experience leading onsite operations for large-scale construction projects, preferably data center or mission critical.
• Proven experience with PMO functions, project controls, and governance processes in commercial, data center, telecommunications, industrial, or infrastructure construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite operations at the data center site and serve as the senior company leader on site.
• Walk the site daily to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and quality.
• Establish and enforce site-level PMO standards, governance, controls, documentation, and closeout procedures.
• Oversee multiple project teams, scopes, and phases, monitoring schedule, finances, risk, and resources.
• Lead site coordination meetings with project teams, field leadership, GC, trades, and client.
• Coordinate with client onsite representatives, GC, and trades to resolve issues and keep work moving.
• Plan onsite manpower, equipment, and materials to meet schedule; forecast workforce needs.
• Own site safety performance and ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements.
• Drive QA/QC, inspections, testing, punch lists, and closeout management.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, earned value, change orders, cash flow, and margin.
• Manage risk, contractual compliance, claims avoidance, and escalations at the site.
• Lead and mentor onsite project managers and PMO staff; support training and succession planning.
• Report site performance, forecasts, risks, and progress through dashboards and reviews.
• Promote use of project management software and reporting systems across onsite teams.
• Serve as primary onsite client contact and strengthen the relationship through consistent performance and communication.
