Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking an Onsite Project Manager for Data Center Electrical (Medium Voltage) to lead the installation and delivery of MV electrical systems on data center sites. You will coordinate with utilities, ensure safety, maintain schedule, and manage subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires expertise in MV systems (5kV–35kV), interpretation of electrical drawings, and strong collaboration with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Experience leading onsite MV electrical scope for data center projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and one-line diagrams.
• Strong coordination with utilities, contractors and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite execution of MV electrical scope for data center projects.
• Manage installation of MV systems (typically 5kV–35kV), including switchgear and transformers.
• Coordinate with utility providers for service and outages.
• Oversee subcontractors and field crews to ensure safety and schedule adherence.
• Review drawings, specs and diagrams to support installation.
• Track progress, identify risks and implement mitigation.
• Ensure NEC and local code compliance for MV installations.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field docs.
• Conduct site walks and QA/QC of installed systems.
• Support commissioning and functional testing of MV systems.
