Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a remote travel role with 100% onsite client projects in the Houston area. The role supports Sr. Project Manager across large-scale construction programs, including data centers and heavy industrial sectors.

You will assist with change management, planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and stakeholder communication, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering) or combination of experience and/or education.
• 5+ years of direct experience
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems
• Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills
• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time
• Tactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities
• A good understanding of how to read drawings and specifications
• Familiar with computer-based estimating
• Knowledge of billing and collections

• Estimating project scope and costs
• Manage project expectations and execution of subcontractors
• Maintaining project documentation
• Tracking project expenses and budget
• Preparing reports
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors
• Attend and actively participate in project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required.
• Research and preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval
• Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions
• Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes
• Submittal and RFI processes
• Early completion and tracking of billing
