Job summary

MDS Staffing seeks an experienced Project Manager for a remote travel role that is 100% onsite at client projects. The role supports Sr.

PM across a portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily in the data center sector, with extensions into chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors. You will oversee change requests, planning and scheduling, budget tracking, and reporting while coordinating with team members and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or combination of experience and education.
• 5+ years of direct project management experience.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time.
• Tactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities.
• A good understanding of reading drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with computer-based estimating and billing/collections.

Responsibilities

• Estimate project scope and costs and manage expectations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to execute projects.
• Maintain project documentation and track expenses and budget.
• Prepare reports and communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Attend coordination meetings with owners, contractors, architects and engineers.
• Research change requests to resolve design issues for approval.
• Monitor field work to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Oversee submittal and RFI processes.
• Support early completion and tracking of billing.
