Everforth Apex is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to oversee enterprise data center operations, focusing on risk management, maintenance of critical infrastructure, and vendor coordination. The position requires a Bachelor’s or technical degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure reliable facility performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical (military/trade school) degree with relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• 1-2 years of critical infrastructure experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, maintain, and repair routine and emergency critical systems (switchgear, generators, UPS, PDU, chillers, cooling towers, CRAC, BMS).
• On-site management of shift technicians, contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to practices and procedures.
• Establish benchmarks, analyze data, and report on facility operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate projects with IT managers to optimize capacity, safety, performance and efficiency.
• Assist in design/build of new facilities.
• Assist in projects to increase facility efficiency.
• Manage assets and inventory.
