Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. seeks a full-time Superintendent - Data Center in Pecos, Texas. You will oversee electrical construction on complex data center projects, guiding field teams, subcontractors, and vendors from mobilization to turnover, while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating with management and trades, and supporting QA/QC and commissioning activities to ensure uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Technical or construction-related degree preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level preferred.
• 8–12 years of electrical construction experience with 1–3 years in superintendent/lead role.
• Direct experience on data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, BIM coordination documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Develop short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, and manpower forecasts.
• Ensure safety policies and site safety requirements are followed.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, and trades to maintain workflow.
• Monitor progress, adjust as needed to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Lead huddles and coordination meetings; support QA/QC and commissioning.
