Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Manager, Critical Operations to lead the Data Center facility technical strategy and continuous improvement across electrical, mechanical, life safety, and DCIM platforms. You will align with the Engineering Manager on daily facility needs and own strategic projects.

The role requires on-site presence 24x7x365 and oversees maintenance teams, budgeting, vendor coordination, and safety compliance while driving energy efficiency and reliable uptime

Qualifications

• Five or more years workplace or professional equivalent experience.
• Five or more years people leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Architecture, Military Schooling, or professional equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility policies and procedures ensuring compliance with laws and corporate policy.
• Develop and maintain efficient maintenance operations to achieve 100% uptime of systems.
• Plan and monitor emergency response, incident reporting, and continuity planning.
• Budget and manage operating and capital expenditures; oversee vendor relations.
• Direct, train, and coach staff; set performance goals and development plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for customer environments and tours.
