Job summary

KGO, LLC is seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative Construction Manager to support a large-scale data center project in Barber Lake, Texas. This on-site role requires field leadership from active construction through commissioning, rack installation and rack turn-up.

The ideal candidate has data center or mission-critical construction experience, strong scheduling and coordination skills, and comfort adopting AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting and decision making.

Qualifications

• Data center or mission-critical construction experience required.
• Experience as Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Project Manager, or Owner’s Representative.
• Experience with union construction environments.
• Ability to understand construction schedules and identify bottlenecks.
• Strong technology skills and willingness to incorporate AI tools into daily project management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field leadership as Owner’s Representative Construction Manager.
• Manage construction through rack turn-up and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, commissioning teams, vendors, equipment providers, and owner stakeholders.
• Monitor schedule, field progress, quality, safety, constraints, and construction readiness.
• Identify issues before they affect critical-path activities and drive them toward resolution.
• Maintain strong communication between field teams and project leadership.
