Job summary

OnTrac is seeking an Operations Manager in Dallas, TX to lead facility operations, drive efficiency, and manage personnel within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This onsite role reports to the General Manager and focuses on strategic operations, process optimization, and sustaining a positive work culture.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in management, including last-mile or parcel experience, with strong negotiation skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.
• 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services.
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly; report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Responsible for coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions.
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement.
