Job summary

Leidos seeks a Sr. Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst for the GSM-O II program at Fort Meade, MD, supporting the DISA Joint Operations Center (D2OC). The role covers continuous monitoring, incident handling, threat analysis, and coordination with cross-functional teams to prioritize vulnerabilities and mitigate threats.

Required DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and DoD 8140 WRC 511 Intermediate certs. Experience with ArcSight, Splunk, Elastic and CND is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related education and experience; additional related years may substitute for a degree.
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance required.
• Must have DoD-8140 WRC 511 Intermediate certification to start.
• SIEM tools experience: ArcSight, Splunk, Elastic, etc.
• Knowledge of network and application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities, and threat/adversary methodologies (TTPs).
• CND experience within a Computer Incident Response organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute continuous network monitoring and incident handling.
• Triage events and assist with AO-specific trends.
• Support cross-functional forums to coordinate vulnerability scoring and mitigation.
• Develop, coordinate, release, and ensure compliance of orders.
• Provide threat analysis and recommendations with Cross Functional Fusion Team.
• Leverage intelligence to identify threats and reduce vulnerabilities.
• Identify problems and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Engage with customers and mission partners to understand needs.
