Job summary

Image Associates Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for an onsite, no-travel role in Florence, SC. The successful candidate will perform on-site testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies and maintain inspection records.

The position is a day shift with four 10-hour days per week. You will test welds per AWS D1.1, verify equipment, read fabrication drawings, and document QA activities to support heavy-load structures.

Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years' experience.
• AWS D1.1 knowledge with ability to read drawings and specs.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting formats.

Responsibilities

• Onsite testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies.
• Maintain daily inspection records.
• Perform welder certification testing per AWS D1.1, including minor destructive tests.
• Maintain QA manual, procedures and specifications.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings; verify equipment daily.
