Job summary

Image Associates Inc. seeks a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for an onsite role. The position offers a four-day workweek with 10-hour days and potential relocation assistance to the Western Tennessee or Florence, SC area.

The successful candidate will perform floor inspections of cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding and painting, maintain records, and read engineering drawings. Must have CWI certification and 3+ years of experience in inspection and weld testing.

Qualifications

• AWSCWI certification with at least three years' experience.
• Ability to identify components with cracks, corrosion, faulty welds or other defects.
• Read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints; proficiency with MS Office and ability to produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Constant floor inspection and documentation of manufacturing processes including cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding and painting.
• Welding process is a GMAW Spray Transfer process.
• Maintain daily inspection records and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Identify defects that affect structural integrity and document findings clearly.

• ConstantfloorinspectionanddocumentationofallmanufacturingprocessesincludingCutting,punching,shearingstamping,notching,weldingandpaint.
• TheweldingprocessisaGMAWSprayTransferprocess.
• Allnecessarytestingandpersonalprotectionequipmentwillbeprovidedbythecompany
• Maintaindailyinspectionrecords
• Shouldbeexperiencedininspectionandtestofstructuresandwelds.
• ExperiencewithMagneticParticle,DyePenetrant,Visual,andUltrasonicinspection(NDI)preferred.

Thisjobpays$35-40anhour.
