Job summary

Standard Iron is seeking a Customer Program Specialist to be the primary contact for customers, owning order entry, delivery schedules, pricing inquiries, and issue resolution on site in Grand Island, NE. You will collaborate with manufacturing, planning, engineering, procurement, and sales, gaining hands-on visibility on the shop floor to ensure commitments are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer program management within manufacturing.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to work on the shop floor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience de-escalating customer issues under deadlines.
• Preferred: ERP (Syteline) experience; related degree.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries on work-in-progress, orders, pricing, and delivery.
• Build and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Own order entries and communicate delivery requirements and issues.
• Coordinate production and supply chain with planning and production teams.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer records and prepare reports.
