Chief Buildings is seeking a Lead Person to support daily operations at the Grand Island, NE plant. You will back up the supervisor, enforce safety and quality standards, and coach employees to meet team goals.

You will oversee production schedules on the 2nd shift, guide teams, and apply ERP system knowledge (IFS) to streamline processes. Strong communication and manufacturing experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.
• Leader with effective communication and organizational skills.
• Solid foundation in manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production schedules are met.
• Guide and motivate teams, delegate tasks, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies.
• Understand production processes, quality control methods, and relevant tools.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting production efficiency or quality.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
