Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Custodian (Learn & Earn) in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on keeping laboratories, shops and offices clean, including restrooms, floors and common areas.

You will perform dusting, mopping, waste handling, and light maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols and test qualification requirements. Applicants must be able to obtain a Q clearance and complete training such as SDS/GHS and Bloodborne Pathogen courses.

Qualifications

• Exposure to elements and hazards requires basic safety precautions.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, schedules and memos precisely.
• Pre-requisites include test-qualification and ability to obtain a Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain designated lab, shop or office areas in clean, sanitary condition.
• Empty waste receptacles, wash and sanitize restrooms, floors and surfaces.
• Perform dusting, mopping, buffing, and periodic floor care as needed.
• Stock supplies, prepare lists and assist with snow/ice removal per needs.
