Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia is seeking an Operations Custodian to perform comprehensive custodial tasks across Pueblo facilities under supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, dusting, vacuuming, window and surface sanitation, floor care, and waste management in alignment with SOPs and safety rules.

You will assist in emergency procedures, help train new team members, and ensure equipment is maintained and used safely.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work with others and follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Basic cleaning and custodial tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: dusting, vacuuming, trash disposal, sanitizing restrooms, cleaning windows, walls, doors, and carpets.
• Follow Facilities Department SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Assist in emergency evacuation procedures as needed.
• Move or lift furniture and assist in floor care tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of custodial equipment and report repairs.
• Train new custodial Team Members as needed.
