ITC Federal is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a CSfC solution at Fort Meade, MD. This 100% onsite role requires hands-on expertise with network infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, and routing/switching to ensure 24x7 operations in a secure environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in large-scale networks, active Federal SECRET clearance, and an active IAT Level II cyber security certification.

Qualifications

7+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments.
Active Federal SECRET Security Clearance.
Current IAT Level II Cyber Security certification (Security+, CySA+, or equivalent).
Experience with VLANs, routing protocols (BGP/EIGRP/OSPF), VPNs, and network security.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
Plan platform software updates and disaster recovery operations.
Configure network segments with a security-first approach.
Test, document, and report system status to support operations.
Troubleshoot hardware and software network problems and replace components as needed.
Monitor performance and plan future network changes.
Collaborate with software, test, server, and operations teams.
Provide 24x7 Tier 3 escalation for network outages.
