Job summary

Six Degrees is seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst in Addison, IL to manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, drive timely collections, and support credit decisions. This onsite role interfaces with sales and customer service to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in commercial credit or AR, a four-year degree in a related field, and strong communication and Excel skills. Competitive base plus bonus opportunity is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial credit, B2B collections, or accounts receivable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, including collections and past-due receivables.
• Review customer credit limits and assist with credit decisions.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes.
• Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve outstanding balances.
• Monitor aging reports, payment trends, and collection activity.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and credit documentation.
• Help improve collections processes and overall cash flow.
