Six Degrees is seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst to join its accounting and finance team in a full-time, onsite role in Addison, Illinois. The analyst will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, handle collections, review credit limits and resolve discrepancies to improve cash flow.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in credit/AR, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and AR reporting. Base compensation is $54,000–$72,000 with an additional bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial credit, B2B collections or AR.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with accounting systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, including collections and past-due receivables.
• Review customer credit limits and assist with credit decisions.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes.
• Work with sales and customer service to resolve balances.
• Monitor aging reports, payment trends and collection activity.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and credit documentation.
• Help improve collections processes and cash flow.
