Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Data Manager to support hematology/oncology studies on site in Chicago, IL. You will manage data collection, ensure protocol adherence, and provide expertise across data management activities for multiple studies.

Collaborate with PIs, CROs, and sponsors; supervise data management tasks, maintain high confidentiality, and train junior staff. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of clinical research data management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with data monitoring, query generation and resolution.
• Knowledge of medical and clinical trial terminology.
• Ability to train junior data managers.
• Demonstrated excellence in data management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains collaborative relationships with PIs and research teams to manage studies.
• Oversees data management activities for a work unit and ensures data integrity.
• Ensures accurate abstraction and verification of data from source documents.
• Performs data quality checks, query resolution, and timely reporting.
• Trains junior data managers and facilitates study communications with sponsors/regulators.
