Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney division in East Hartford is seeking a leader to drive CORE and continuous improvement at the Turbine Module Center, delivering manufacturing and business process alignment for military and commercial customers worldwide.

Selected applicant will lead CORE—focusing on measurable improvements, data collection, and deployment of digital tools—across the Module Center and coordinate with leadership to drive performance and KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics or Operations, Supply Chain or similar field and 7 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead CORE & Overall Continuous Improvement activities at the Turbine Module Center that drive tangible action and metric improvements across all manufacturing processes.
• Collect, standardize, report, and automate where possible, KPI metrics and utilize that data to identify areas that require improvement plans.
• Manage and aid in deploying digital technology resources to improve metrics that are lagging with CORE specific activities.
• Assess, establish and execute improvement plans for CT metrics, CORE maturity level, SPS, OpX/WAVE, Industry 4.0, and other RTX initiatives.
• Plan and lead business level CORE events, CORE Council Meetings & CORE Leadership Weeks, drive follow up actions and provide regular report outs to leadership team.
• Establish & oversee CORE proficiency growth of the HSMC-S employee population in collaboration with Black Belt & Red-X Specialists to leverage HSMC activities for broad employee skill growth.
