Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an Associate's Degree with equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years direct project management experience in building construction.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple subcontractors and scopes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial accounting systems.
• Strong PC skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Writer and Visio.
• PMI/PMP certification commitment within two years.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site execution for mechanical construction projects and coordinate the project team to completion.
• Support sales and project development activities; strategy input, vendor/partner selection, value engineering, risk assessment.
• Develop project schedules and manage execution against plan; monitor changes and client directives.
• Review contract scope and assess impact of directives and schedule changes.
• Pursue change orders; prepare costs, proposals, and settlements with customers.
• Manage costs, billings, cash flow, and project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety, and Johnson Controls standards.
• Coordinate with CMS, HVAC installation, systems, and project team leaders.
