Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Controls Project Manager to act as the on-site project leader, planning, executing and completing projects with customers in a safe and cost-effective manner, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and commissioning.

You will manage project finances, billings and collections, ensure customer satisfaction, pursue change orders, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a technical associate's degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience.
• Must have applicable Access Control, Fire, Video, and/or systems design and commissioning experience.
• Must have appropriate licensing, certifications, and relevant hands-on experience.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently.
• For Controls Project Manager II: All of the above with increased experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site project leadership to plan, execute, and complete projects safely and cost-effectively.
• Manage hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and commissioning.
• Control project finances including costs, billings, and collections; pursue change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and administration; ensure safety and compliance.
