Job summary
IntePros is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to support automation, electrical, and control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on optimizing plant performance, driving reliability, and implementing advanced automation while adhering to safety standards.
You will design and support PLC/SCADA/HMI systems, monitor and improve control networks, and lead projects from concept to commissioning in Monett, Missouri.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of controls engineering, automation, or electrical systems in manufacturing.
- Experience with PLC programming, electrical system design, power distribution, and equipment installation.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA70E standards and ability to read electrical schematics.
- Proficient in automation programming and computer-based control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to improve production efficiency and uptime.
- Develop and support PLC, HMI, SCADA, and MES systems including programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor plant control systems, network health, controller performance, and obsolescence management.
- Implement data collection, reporting, and dashboard solutions for real-time insights.
- Lead and execute control projects, manage contractors, and ensure on-time delivery.
