PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to drive automation in Holcomb, KS. This onsite role leads controls strategy, troubleshoots PLC/SCADA systems, and mentors a cross-functional team across a highly automated manufacturing environment.

You will work with Schneider Electric/Modicon platforms, Ignition and iFix, and collaborate with operations and maintenance to implement modernization initiatives and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in information systems, controls, automation, or related technical field.
• Experience in industrial automation within manufacturing environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead automation, controls, and information systems initiatives across operations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and industrial networks.
• Program, commission, modify, and maintain Schneider Electric/Modicon PLCs.
• Diagnose production issues with conveyors, drives, motors, sensors, and scanners.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to drive solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
