Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking onsite contract interpreters in the Atlanta, GA area to facilitate accurate and meaningful communication across healthcare, education, government, legal, and social-service settings. Interpreters may provide consecutive interpretation onsite and remote by phone or video where needed.

Applicants should be at least 18, fluent in English and other spoken languages, and able to travel to assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficiency in English and All Spoken Languages.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages.
• Successful completion of applicable language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with applicable Propio and client requirements relating to interpreter ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements applicable to each assignment.
