Job summary

Talentify in Kent, WA is seeking a Buyer for a 3-month contract. This onsite role focuses on supplier management, escalation, and follow-up to ensure timely deliveries.

The successful candidate will drive POs, improve OTD, negotiate services, manage requisitions to payment, and maintain procurement records. Requires 4–5 years in procurement and a Bachelor's in a related field, with FAR/DFAR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 4–5 years procurement experience in supply chain services.
• Experience with aerospace or government contracts preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple internal and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive down overdue POs through daily follow-up, escalation, and root-cause resolution.
• Improve supplier on-time delivery against committed dates and address underperformers.
• Secure and enforce timely PO acknowledgements with terms.
• Track daily metrics and report status to leadership.
• Source, negotiate, and procure services across categories.
• Manage procurement from requisition to final payment and resolve issues.
• Conduct price analyses and lead negotiations of all types.
• Review service procurement requests for compliance and contracts.
