Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Buyer II on a contract basis for our client in Kent, WA. The role provides purchasing and procurement support, PO management, supplier communication, and invoice tracking.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate purchasing. This position offers exposure to procurement processes and opportunities to contribute to daily purchasing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience; Master's with 1+ year is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Professional communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and procurement basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PO management and supplier communication.
• Track invoices and update procurement records.
• Support RFQ activities by gathering pricing and information.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and procurement reports.
• Verify PO details, delivery dates, and status.
• Escalate issues to buyers or purchasing managers.
