Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Senior Buyer for a 6-month contract in Kent, WA to support a space exploration company developing reusable launch vehicles and in-space systems. The Senior Buyer will perform day-to-day procurement activities, focusing on avionics and electronics manufacturing experience, and will collaborate with facilities and project teams.

The role requires managing suppliers, issuing RFPs/RFQs, cost analysis, and negotiating terms to ensure best value.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years in purchasing/supply chain at tactical level.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; avionics procurement knowledge.
• Experience with cost-type contracting and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day procurement for construction and facilities projects.
• Develop strategic suppliers and contractors; manage bids and awards.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs/RFQs; perform price and cost analysis.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best-value practices.
