Job summary

Amentum seeks a Construction Supervisor to manage on-site construction activities at the NASA Johnson Space Center. You will supervise integration of architectural, mechanical, and electrical work, ensuring adherence to contract specs and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; B.S. in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Mechanical supervisory experience, especially Air Handlers, Demo and Installation.
• Skills in design or inspection of construction, buildings and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction related reports based on job site inspections and prepares project reports.
• Monitors cost overruns/underruns and assists in planning and scheduling flow charts.
• Oversees costs of equipment alternatives and selection based on design, availability and cost.
• Acts as coordinator of engineering, fabrication and testing phases of construction.
• Supervises layout, design, and installation of facility systems to meet client needs and codes.
• Reviews preliminary drawings and cost estimates for budget compliance.
• Provides project reports to management on status, costing, operations and finances.
