Amentum is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer, PE to design and perform structural duties onsite at the NASA Johnson Space Center. You will provide structural analyses, create layouts and drawings, and support facility modifications.
The role requires a Civil/Structural degree, PE preferred, and about five years of related experience with government or large-scale facilities. The position is on-site at the NASA site in Texas with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- PE license/certification preferred.
- Five years of structural engineering experience with existing facilities/infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Performs structural analyses utilizing appropriate loads.
- Assesses structural integrity of building structures using engineering principles.
- Prepares documentation, studies, and reports of analysis and safety margins.
- Provides structural designs including layout, detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
