Job summary

Bilfinger Berger SE is seeking a Superintendent to oversee operations at a construction site around Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, and drive project progress from planning through completion.

The role requires 4+ years of construction industry experience with a commercial/industrial general contractor, strong communication, and the ability to manage resources across multiple sites. Onsite work and occasional travel are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor
• Ability to manage resources including vendors, subcontractors, time, and more to meet deadlines and deliver quality projects
• Strong verbal and written communication, integrity, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: review scope, control site operations, ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards
• Subcontractor Management: supervise and coordinate subcontractors and job-site operations
• Scheduling: outline project timetable and ensure milestones and completion dates are met
• Safety: ensure compliance with HSEQ guidelines and local requirements
• Travel between project sites as needed; occasional travel may be required
• Work environment includes offices and active construction sites; may involve varied weather and terrain to perform duties
