Job summary

Bilfinger seeks a Superintendent to oversee Joint Base Lewis McChord construction sites in Washington. The role ensures on-time, on-budget completion with strong safety culture and leadership of subcontractors.

Responsibilities include project oversight, subcontractor management, scheduling, and enforcing HSEQ guidelines across multiple sites, with travel as needed. A 4+ year background in commercial/industrial GC is required, and a relevant degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in construction (commercial or industrial GC).

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field desired.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: manage scope of work, safety and progress reporting on site.
• Subcontractor Management: supervise subcontractors and site operations per policy.
• Scheduling: outline schedules with Project Manager and ensure milestones are met.
• Safety: enforce Health, Safety, Environment and Quality guidelines and OSHA/EM385.1.1 standards.
• Travel between project sites and occasional/regular site attendance as required.
