Job summary

Tepa Companies seeks a Construction Superintendent for a Hangar Door Expansion project for the US Army Corps of Engineers, onsite at Fort Hood, TX. You will oversee safety, quality, and project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring documentation accuracy across client and subcontractors. Must have OSHA training, First Aid/CPR, and base access clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Procedural knowledge of construction trades.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health completed within last 5 years.
• Current First aid/CPR certification.
• Intermediate proficiency in ProCore, BlueBeam, Word and Excel.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Ability to pass a drug screen per federal regs and pass a background check for military base access.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications.
• Lead pre-construction/safety meeting with Project Manager.
• Manage quality control per Four Point plan.
• Conduct owner pre-construction meeting.
• Mobilize equipment and personnel.
• Finalize schedule with Project Manager.
• Establish and monitor safety program.
• Daily site inspections.
• Weekly progress meetings.
• Coordinate inspections and testing.
• Induct new employees and visitors.
• Maintain documentation and correspondence across client/offices/subcontractors.
• Update daily/weekly logs and inspection sheets.
• Execute and monitor safety plan.
• Coordinate punch list work and close-out documents.
• Demobilize equipment and personnel.
