Job summary

Paragon Safety Group, Inc. is seeking an On-Site Safety Manager for a construction jobsite in Orlando, FL for approximately 3 months. This temporary W-2 position involves coaching workers, conducting safety audits, and ensuring OSHA compliance on-site.

The role requires 6+ years in safety with BCSP Cert or OSHA 500, plus strong communication skills. Duties include audits, coaching, incident reporting, and safety orientations. In-person work with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in safety with 3+ years managing construction site safety
• BCSP Certification with 5+ years managing construction site safety
• OSHA 500 with 6+ years managing construction site safety
• Mission Critical Experience (Required)
• Up to date First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
• Great communication skills (required)

Responsibilities

• Perform regular site safety audits and prepare audit reports using Safety Reports software
• Coach onsite workers to follow safe practices per guidelines and regulations
• Monitor safety-critical tasks and ensure best practices are implemented with the contractor
• Represent the client's health and safety interests at all times
• Report safety incidents and conduct investigations when needed
• Conduct Safety Orientation for personnel as needed
