System One, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in Pittsburgh, PA to lead a company-wide safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

You will develop training, oversee risk assessments, and implement safety programs while coordinating with executives and field teams. The role involves incident investigations, safety metrics analysis, and ongoing collaboration with project managers on safety for bids and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Certification in safety (CSP/CIH/ASP/CHST) with 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 500 and OSHA 30 Construction within last 5 years.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to promote a safety culture.
• Ability to interpret government safety regulations.
• CPR/First Aid/AED and blood-borne pathogens training.
• Drug and alcohol training.

Responsabilités

• Promote a strong safety culture across all locations and jobsites.
• Develop communications, training, and processes that emphasize Safety as the value.
• Oversee Safety Team scheduling and site visits for projects across regions.
• Manage safety processes and metrics to track trends and risk indicators.
• Collaborate with executives, field leaders, and risk management on corrective actions.
• Contribute safety inputs for bid proposals.
• Oversee employee safety training and update Safety Manuals.
• Lead incident investigations and communicate findings.
• Conduct job site inspections and recommend improvements.
• Review safety documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure every project site has a safety plan with risks and mitigations.
• Schedule and track safety training sessions.
• Analyze safety metrics to improve compliance and program effectiveness.
• Maintain on-site presence at selected projects.
