Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety / Occupational Health & Safety (or closely related safety discipline)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction project safety, health, and risk management programs on site
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, training plans, and Accident Prevention Programs (APP)
• Lead Operational Risk Management (ORM) activities and safety planning based on project specs, drawings, and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with the General Contractor and/or owner on site conditions and any non-compliance items
• Participate in customer and project meetings to advise on mitigation plans and safety training expectations
• Support incident reporting and investigations; recommend corrective and preventative actions
• Manage and support safety-related permits, documentation, and compliance to contract requirements
• Provide day-to-day safety guidance for a field team (supporting approximately 25 electricians)
• Be available to work Saturdays on a rotational basis (typically about once per month)
