Job summary

System One is seeking a Safety Manager in Pittsburgh, PA on a direct-hire, onsite role. You will lead a safety culture across locations, develop training, oversee incidents, and partner with executives to drive risk reduction and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds CSP/CIH/ASP/CHST or a safety/engineering degree with extensive experience, OSHA 500 and OSHA 30 hours, and a track record of improving safety metrics through field collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires CSP/CIH/ASP/CHST or a safety/engineering degree with extensive construction safety experience.
• OSHA 500 course completed within the last 5 years.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach completed within the last 5 years.
• CHST or higher certification required.
• Strong partnership with operations, management, and field crews to promote safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture across locations and jobsites.
• Develop communications, training, and processes prioritizing safety.
• Oversee safety team scheduling and site visits across regions.
• Manage safety processes and metrics to track trends and risk indicators.
• Collaborate with executives to develop corrective measures and conduct safety inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and communicate findings throughout the organization.
