Zusammenfassung

Rockford is seeking a Safety Coordinator to enforce safety criteria on active jobsites. You will collaborate with the Senior Safety Manager to develop objectives around culture, training, auditing and awareness, and you will report to the Senior Safety Manager.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health (or equivalent), 3+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and willingness to travel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health or equivalent training or a minimum 3 year's construction safety experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• OSHA 30 Hour training certificate required.
• Willingness to become certified in other area to perform the role.
• Must have reliable transportation and work on-site at project locations.

Aufgaben

• Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design criteria on the assigned construction projects.
• Communicate the plans and expectations to all Rockford affected team members including trade contractors.
• Perform comprehensive onsite safety assessments of the projects.
• Constantly monitor work operations for safety compliance as required.
• Participate in pre-construction and handoff meetings as required.
• Participate in construction and management meetings including presentation of safety training topics.
• Assist in the maintenance of safety files and records.
• Function as a liaison with subcontractors, clients, MIOSHA, and other authorities to support safety programs.
• Enforce safety policies and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance to trades regarding safety and risk management.
• Communicate Rockford's vision, values and goals positively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
