Rockford is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement Rockford safety criteria on active jobsites, collaborating with the Senior Safety Manager to advance safety culture, training, auditing, and risk management. The role reports to the Senior Safety Manager.

Responsibilities include developing and enforcing safety programs, conducting onsite assessments, coordinating with subcontractors and clients, and maintaining safety records. Occasional travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or equivalent training.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• OSHA 30 Hour training certificate required.

Responsabilités

• Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design criteria on assigned projects
• Communicate plans and expectations to Rockford team members and trade contractors
• Perform comprehensive onsite safety assessments of the projects
• Monitor operations for safety compliance as required
• Participate in pre-construction and handoff meetings
• Lead safety trainings and present topics at meetings
• Maintain safety files and records
• Liaise with subcontractors, clients, MIOSHA and others to support safety programs
• Enforce safety policies and recommend corrective actions to address violations
• Ensure Rockford policies are understood and applied consistently
• Provide guidance to trades on safety and risk management
• Promote Rockford's vision and values in a positive, professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
