Job summary

Rockford Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to supervise field construction across projects, coordinating with owners, architects, and engineers. You’ll travel to project sites, manage safety, quality, and schedules, and uphold Rockford standards while maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities include reviewing contract docs, developing site logistics, and leading diverse teams. The role requires willingness to travel, durable leadership, and proactive communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Certifications: First Aid/CPR, Storm Water Management, OSHA 30 hours.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Liaise with owner/architects/engineers for day-to-day activities.
• Plan and schedule site activities and logistics for the project.
• Review contract documents, budgets, and buyout processes.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with Rockford standards.
• Coordinate trade contractors and manage field teams.
