Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Boston, MA is seeking an Entry-level Environmental Health and Safety professional to assist enforcing safety policies on our construction projects.

You will help review subcontractor safety programs, support training, conduct orientations, and gather JHAs and PTPS to support risk management efforts.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field and basic knowledge of regulations; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/environmental health or related field required; minimum 1 year of construction safety experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of safety/environmental regulations and building safety practices
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Assist with the enforcement of company EH&S policies and risk management on construction projects.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with subcontractor training per OSHA standards and project requirements.
• Maintain safety records (PTPs, JHAs, training records, incident metrics) and assist with safety meetings.
