Turner Construction Company is seeking an Entry Level Project Safety Assistant to support enforcement of EH&S policies on construction projects. You will assist with training, safety programs, and risk management coordination.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Occupational Safety and Health or related field and at least one year of construction safety experience; strong communication and organizational skills required; some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited program in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field, and minimum 1 year of related construction safety experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
• Familiar with Federal, State, and Local Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
• Ability to identify safety exposures and propose corrective actions.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to follow directions.

Responsabilités

• Assist with enforcement of EH&S policies on construction projects and coordinate with the supervisor.
• Assist with training on safe work practices and safety programs (L.I.F.E. and EH&S).
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support review of subcontractor training per OSHA standards.
• Assist with safety meetings and maintain safety records (PTPs, JHAs, logs, MSDS, incidents).
• Assist with site safety audits, inspections, and reporting of violations for corrective action.
