Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Construction QA/QC Support professional to oversee quality assurance and control on a Phoenix, Arizona project. The role involves collaborating with the project team to ensure conformance to quality specifications, safety standards, and project parameters during on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering, quality management or related field with 5+ years on data center projects or similar.
• Proficient with M 360 Suite, BIM, Bluebeam; also skilled in data analytics and PowerBI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation.
• Detail-oriented with audit and specification compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC processes on construction projects and ensure day-to-day execution adheres to processes and standards.
• Review the General Contractor’s Project QMP and QC procedures; inspect plans.
• Train staff to ensure consistency in auditing against quality specs.
• Lead quality awareness and drive improvements on the project.
• Attend meetings (design, construction, quality) and collaborate across stakeholders.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
• Execute audits and consolidate audit data; report non-conformances and lessons learned.
• Support digitalization of construction QA/QC processes to improve efficiency.
