Welltower is offering a hands‑on internship with the Capital Projects team, providing exposure to senior housing capital projects and real estate development. You’ll assist with schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communications while working closely with experienced professionals.

This 10‑week program requires current enrollment in Construction Management or related field and willingness to visit active sites; daily onsite presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong interest in construction, project management, real estate, or capital improvements with basic understanding of construction processes.
• Strong organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to visit active construction sites as needed.

Responsabilités

• Support Project Managers with the day‑to‑day coordination of capital and renovation projects, including tracking schedules and milestones.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to gain exposure to construction activities.
• Assist with maintaining project documentation, including scopes of work, drawings, contracts, change orders, schedules, and trackers.
• Support the preparation of weekly project updates and status reports, communicating progress, risks, and outstanding items to stakeholders.
• Assist with project close‑out activities, organizing documentation and ensuring files are complete.
• Gain hands‑on exposure to project budgets and overall capital project lifecycle while supporting the Capital Projects team.
