Job summary

Marker Construction in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a Construction Project Superintendent to lead on-site activities, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and quality across medium to large projects. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Construction.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of field experience, 5 years as Foreperson/Assistant Supervisor, and a proven ability to manage costs, schedules, and team performance on complex builds in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years construction field experience.
• Minimum 5 years as Foreperson or Assistant Supervisor.
• High School graduate with 2+ years post-secondary training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site and manage all activity on the site.
• Ensure all personnel on site work safely and have a safe environment.
• Plan and coordinate the work.
• Provide direction to all contractors.
• Read contract documents to know responsibilities and installation requirements.
• Manage job cost reports to keep work under budget.
• Maintain payroll records and submit them via Procore.
• Complete daily reports and maintain or beat the schedule.
• Supervise Marker’s self-performed associates with hands-on participation.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and security.
• Keep as-built drawings updated and monitor quality standards.
