Marker Construction in Columbus, Ohio seeks an experienced Construction Project Superintendent to lead on-site activities, ensure safety, plan and coordinate work, and direct contractors. The role requires overseeing budgets, payroll via Procore, and maintaining schedules while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Progressive on-site construction leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and on-site safety.
• Strong communication with clients, architects, engineers.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site and manage all activity on the site.
• Ensure all personnel on site are working safely and have a safe work environment.
• Plan and coordinate the work.
• Provide direction to all contractors.
• Conduct pre-installation meetings for all phases of the work.
• Read contract documents to know responsibilities, materials, installation requirements.
• Know and utilize job cost report to plan work within budget.
• Maintain payroll records and submit to Payroll via Procore.
• Complete daily reports.
• Maintain or beat the project schedule.
• Supervise Marker’s self-performed associates with hands-on participation.
• Manage job site cleanliness.
• Care and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure job site security.
• Keep as-built drawings updated.
• Monitor quality and correct non-conformities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
