EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a major New York metropolitan-area firm to recruit a Construction Project Manager for their Bronx, NY operation. This onsite role offers direct reporting to a Senior Project Manager and hands-on ownership across the full project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, coordinating between office and field teams, with experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting on heavy civil or infrastructure construction projects.
• Hands-on proficiency with HeavyBid (HCSS), Agtek, Primavera P6, MS Project, InSite (earthwork/takeoff), and MicroStation.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control, and project coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent priorities.
• Effective communicator who works well with field and office teams.
• Comfortable working onsite, full-time; strong attendance and physical presence expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing all phases of new construction and capital upgrade projects.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field crews to keep work on schedule and on budget.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor daily progress, identify risks early, and help resolve field issues as they arise.
• Support quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
• Prepare progress reports and updates for senior leadership and clients.
• Help maintain accurate project records, schedules, and as‑built documentation.
