Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a proactive Project Manager to support school and hospital projects across pre-design, procurement, construction, and post-construction phases. You’ll handle cost and schedule management, quality control, and documentation to align with policy and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in construction management is required.
• Experience in K-12, wastewater or healthcare sectors is preferred.
• At least 1 year of project management in design or construction environments or hazardous waste fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with OSHA, EPA regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to senior staff through all project phases: pre-design, procurement, construction, and post-construction, including cost and schedule mgmt.
• Coordinate project activities on sites to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to policies.
• Lead site assessments and perform tasks with physical requirements while maintaining safety.
• Maintain client, contractor, and stakeholder communications; document and distribute progress updates.
• Manage planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and budgets for construction and environmental phases.
• Administer contracts with design and construction firms and act as owner’s representative.
• Oversee quality control during construction and abatement, addressing deviations promptly.
• Develop relationships with clients to meet contractual requirements and explore new opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in environmental health, engineering, architecture, geology, industrial hygiene, or construction management

4 years of work experience in construction management

1 year experience in K-12, wastewater, or healthcare related fields

1 year project management experience in design/construction or hazardous waste

2 years experience with OSHA and EPA regulations and building codes
