Job summary

Concordia Wireless is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Construction team as we expand. The role is highly administrative and onsite in Carol Stream, IL, with a pay range of $24.00–$26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of project coordination / administrative experience managing/tracking construction projects. Telecom experience preferred but not required.
• Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and handle urgent requests efficiently, quickly, and calmly; capable of managing 40+ active projects.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and collaborate with others.
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English proficiently.
• Able to create large spreadsheets in Excel using simple formulas to manipulate data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients on current and pending status of jobs.
• Maintain project data in the company’s database.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on start dates and permit status for jobs.
• Oversee the construction permit process for commercial install jobs across the country.
• Arrange payment for permits in a timely manner.
• Track open permits and report progress to Project Managers.
• Coordinate final inspections of jobs as required.
• Arrange surety bonds for permits and business licenses.
• Arrange construction testing and engineering services if necessary.
• Create and update project schedules from mid-stage development through engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Administer the RFP process for long lead procurement and services.
• Review and edits project contractual documents and exhibits.
• Provide project information for stakeholders and manage document control.
• Lead constructability reviews and other project engineering and construction meetings with in-house staff.
